Capital choice for SACO
SERVICED APARTMENT PROVIDER SACO is expanding its presence in London this summer with the addition of three new buildings. Together with its partner network, SACO will have an inventory of more than 1,500 apartments in 85 locations around the capital.
The first of the new developments to open - all three are operated by the company itself - was in May at East India Quay in Canary Wharf. Apartments in Covent Garden and High Holborn will follow later this summer.
The Canary Wharf units, some of which have views of the Thames and the O2 Arena, feature specially designed interior furnishings. All have a spacious reception and dining area, fully equipped kitchens and modern bathrooms.
A private gym and 24-hour concierge is also available on site. The corporate rate for a one-night stay is £130, or £121 per night for a seven-night stay (excluding VAT).
Says Jo Redman, SACO's sales and marketing director: "Until now, our own apartments have been in regional centres. We have had a long-held ambition to operate our own apartments in the capital, but it was vital to find high quality buildings in the right location."
SACO provides 11,000 serviced apartments across 35 countries. Many are operated through a network of global serviced apartment providers, while others are managed by SACO.
