CHAMBERS TRAVEL MANAGEMENT has teamed up with Buying Business Travel's publisher Panacea Publishing to host a glittering charity fashion event during this month's London Fashion Week at the exclusive Club at the Ivy in central London. The invitation-only event, on September 20, will raise money for the Ethiopian Education Foundation (EEF).
Top travel industry sponsors include British Airways and American Express, and the evening will feature a live performance and a fundraising raffle with prizes including flights, hotel stays and luxury goods from the likes of Nicole Farhi.
EEF provides scholarship programmes to educate under-privileged, academically promising students in Ethiopia.
Chambers Travel Management CEO Chris Thelen said: "I'm very impressed by the incredible work done by EEF and its volunteers. They take young talented people who would otherwise be facing a very bleak life, and give them the education their talent deserves. I'm delighted to lend my support to them."
