Bridgestreet Global Hospitality has partnered with cloud platform Siteminder in a move that it says will increase visibility of serviced apartments through Siteminder’s supplier network of 350 distribution channels.
The partnership will enable travel managers to curate and book serviced apartments in real-time, according to Bridgestreet. Siteminder allows accommodation providers to integrate their property management system with distribution channels so bookers can see up-to-date room rates and availability.
Earlier this year, Bridgestreet launched the first OTA dedicated to business travel and it claims to offer a selection of 90,000 serviced apartments and homes through its channel.
Bernhard Ballin, vice president of Siteminder’s enterprise in the Americas, said: “What was once considered ‘alternative’ accommodation is now a part of our industry’s vernacular, and technology is once again proving it is the gateway to further progression and innovation.”
