Air France launches new app

The new Air France Play app

Air France has released Air France Play, a new app that gives passengers access to newspapers, magazines, videos and music via their mobile device.

The app, which is available to download in the Apple App Store and Google Play, gives customers with a reservation on an Air France flight access to content from 30 hours before departure. Options include international newspapers and magazines (such as Le Monde, The New York Times and China News Weekly); a selection of movies, TV programmes, cartoons, news programmes and documentaries (for flights longer than two hours between France and Europe, North Africa, or Israel, as well as regional Caribbean services); and a choice of Air France Music playlists.

Air France says all content on the app is free for its customers and can be downloaded to be available offline.
