Intercontinental Hotels Group (IHG) has announced the signing of a new Hotel Indigo in Venice, set to open in 2019.
Hotel Indigo Venice – Sant’Elena is the third branded property to be signed in Italy. It is located next to the canal and a 15-minute walk from St Marco Square.
Converted from a former convent built in the 1930s, the 77-room property will be composed of two wings joined in the centre by a former chapel. The hotel will feature an interior courtyard and high ceilings with large windows.
