Air France and Vietnam Airlines have signed a joint venture agreement that will see the carriers work together to “optimise” their services between France, Europe and Vietnam.
The joint venture will officially launch on November 1. The airlines will jointly develop additional benefits for customers, including improved connections made possible by adapted flight schedules on departures from Paris-Charles de Gaulle, Hanoi-Noi Bai and Ho Chi Minh City-Tan Son Nhat.
According to the airlines, passengers will continue to be able to benefit from Skyteam alliance services such as Skypriority, lounge access and the Flying Blue and Lousmiles loyalty programmes. Customers will be able to earn miles on both carriers’ networks.
