The chaperone meet and assist service has teamed up with black cab app Hailo to provide faster service to and from London’s airports.
Airport Angels, which works mainly with children travelling to the UK for language and study programmes, has joined forces with Hailo, a taxi app with a network of more than 16,000 licensed cabs, to provide another transfer option to and from London airports.
Airport Angels’ managing director Siobhan Gardner-Laye said, “Hailo’s professional approach to answer the specific needs of our clients compliments our service standards.”
Each Hailo driver must pass “the knowledge” exam of London’s streets, as well as being fully licensed and insured. They are also allowed to use London’s bus lanes.
“We know the extremely high standards of service the Airport Angels deliver to their demanding clients. We’re delighted they are trusting Hailo’s professional black cab network to support them delivering this,” added Hailo’s general manager Andy Jones.
