Amadeus and HRS have announced a partnership that will see HRS’s meetago small meeting solution integrate with Amadeus’s cytric Travel & Expense system.
The integration of meetago and cytric allows users to channel small meetings and associated travel through one tool. Amadeus and HRS say this will help businesses consolidate their meeting and travel programmes and saves clients time. The companies claim the automation delivers insight, transparency and savings on all elements of a hotel programme.
Employees and travellers can also use the integrated systems to organise meetings. Users can prepare a request for proposal detailing the number of attendees, accommodation requirements and the necessary meeting room and add-ons such as flip charts, food and beverages, which they can then send to multiple hotels. HRS says the system will also allow hoteliers to automate RFP responses due to the future integration of Amadeus Group & Event Distribution solution, also known as Meetingbroker, with HRS’s meetago.
Other benefits of the partnership include automated bookings and expensing, access to extensive hotel content, insight into potential cost savings and compliance, and visibility of event details on the cytric mobile companion app.
Jason Long, VP of global partnerships at HRS, commented: “Today’s corporate travel manager seeks to leverage their buying power across all lodging scenarios. This integration, along with meetago’s simplified process for engaging hotels on small meetings, brings one more crucial element into a company’s view as they optimise their programme.”
Arlene Coyle, CCO of corporate solution sales and marketing of business travel at Amadeus, added: “We all share the need to get out of the office, meet face to face and get inspired on how to grow our business together. By partnering with HRS, we can now help organisations and travellers around the world organise small meetings within the same platform, making the process simple, stress-free and efficient.”
