Mytaxi has appointed Andy Batty as its new UK general manager.
Batty joins Mytaxi from accommodation provider Onefinestay where he also held the role of general manager.
Mytaxi is majority owned by Germany’s Daimler Group and integrated London black cab app Hailo earlier this year.
Batty’s main responsibility will be to build the driver network, attract new customers and increase Mytaxi’s services across the UK.
“I’m happy to be joining Mytaxi at such an exciting juncture, both for the business and the industry as a whole,” said Batty.
“The UK is a fast moving, dynamic market in which the professionalism of our driver network and an unparalleled service mean Mytaxi can truly set itself apart.”
