Benedicte Duval has been appointed as general manager for the UK and Ireland at Air France KLM.
Joining from Paris, where she held the position of vice president for sales polices, Duval will be responsible for overall Passenger Activity, including Ground Services. She will be focused on ensuring that Air France KLM maintains its strong position in the UK market. Duval has 30 years’ experience working in the airline industry, holding a variety of key management positions, and she will be reporting in to Barry ter Voert, senior vice president Europe.
Duval commented: “I’m delighted to be taking on this role within Air France KLM and am thrilled to be working with such a dynamic team across the UK and Ireland. Over the last few years, our group has made significant investment in our product, fleet and route network and I am confident that these enhancements have been well received by our loyal customers. More recently, we have commenced a new strategic partnership with Virgin Atlantic, which complements our longstanding relationship with Delta Airlines and creates exciting network opportunities and further choice for customers. I am looking forward to further strengthening our position within the UK and Ireland.”
