This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Events Project Executive to produce high-quality inspirational event management and venue proposals and concepts both for new and existing clients

Key Responsibilities:

  • To handle venue finding enquiries.
  • To present a full knowledge of UK & International destinations and venues by attending trips, tradeshows and supplier visits as required
  • To accurately produce all client proposals
  • To produce all event costing’s accurately and within times frames, comply with company & client invoicing processes
  • To present full understanding of client requirements and templates
  • To deliver 100% quality and accuracy in line with both client and company process
  • To proactively escalate delivery issues through notification of management to ensure continuous improvement of meeting processes, procedures and tools
  • To work with SMM technology as required (Cvent)
  • To liaise with supplier partners to ensure quality and timely delivery
  • To leverage and negotiate with suppliers
  • To display excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly areas relating to spelling, grammar and punctuation
  • To meet measurable performance targets
  • To communicate effectively with all inter departmental teams
  • To show ability to work within tight deadlines and schedules
  • To show ability to remain calm and composed under pressure and demonstrate strong multi-tasking skills
  • Understand, apply and promote the company’s values at all times
  • Other duties as required

Required knowledge, skills and abilities:

  • Experience of current relative Meeting/Event Management required
  • General experience & understanding of IATA/ATOL regulations is a plus
  • Knowledge of travel systems GDS – Galileo etc. is a plus
  • College diploma or degree in related field is preferable
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft office suite, including intermediate and advanced Excel
  • Knowledge of web based registration and venue booking tools is a plus
