Germania is to launch a new service between Gatwick and Kosovo’s capital Pristina from the end of next month.
The Berlin-based carrier will offer twice-weekly flights between the two cities from June 29, with flight ST6478 departing Gatwick on Wednesday and Saturday at 19.25, arriving into Pristina at 23.40.
The return leg ST6479 will leave Pristina on Thursday and Sunday at 00.25, landing back into London at 02.50.
It is understood the new route has been made possible due to an agreement between Germania and tour operator Sunvil Holidays, whereby the German carrier has based an aircraft at Gatwick to operate charter flights to Greek islands on behalf of Sunvil this summer.
British Airways has previously offered a service between Gatwick and Pristina, but this service was suspended late last year.
