Technology giant Sabre Corporation has signed a renewed long-term deal with Japan Airlines (JAL).

The new partnership will allow JAL to use Sabre’s group booking tools for the first time which will increase the options for Sabre-connected agencies to book groups on the airline’s flights.

Yoriyuki Kashiwagi, executive officer, passenger sales, for Japan Airlines, said: “Growing our international consumer base is central to Japan Airlines’ expansion plan.

“We are confident that our renewed agreement with Sabre will provide us with the innovative solutions needed to reach our objectives and service our global customers.”

Rakesh Narayanan, vice president, Sabre Travel Network Asia Pacific, added: “Innovative Sabre solutions will help propel the airline to new heights of efficiency, improve profitability and enhance the guest experience.”
