British Airways’ new direct route from Heathrow to Nashville, Tennessee launches this week, with four flights a week starting 4 May.
The route will offer Europe’s first direct flights to the US city, with previous journeys requiring a connection in other major airports.
Flights will be operated by a B787-800 Dreamliner, which will feature World Traveller (economy), World Traveller Plus (premium economy) and Club World (business) classes. The service departs Heathrow Terminal 5 at 1545 local time and lands in Nashville at 1850 local time. Return flights leave Nashvilled at 2020 and arrive in London at 1030 the following day.
The new route follows BA’s launch of flights to New Orleans in March. In total, BA will operate 67 transatlantic flights per day with its partner American Airlines.
