FCM Travel Solutions has promoted Graham Ross to the role of UK general manager as Jo Greenfield prepares to step up as parent company Flight Centre Travel Group’s corporate land leader for Europe.

Both Ross and Greenfield will take up their new positions on 24 April.

Currently head of UK sales, Ross joined FCM and UK sales director in 2012, bringing 12 years’ corporate travel experience. He was promoted to his current role in 2015 and became a member of FCM’s senior management team.

In this position, Ross was responsible for leading the TMC’s team of UK-based business development managers. Under his guidance, the team has secured significant national business, as well as major multi-national client wins outside of the UK. Ross is also a committee member of the Institute of Travel Management (ITM).

Greenfield first joined Flight Centre Travel Group in 1999 as a leisure consultant and her 20-year career with the company has spanned diverse leisure and business travel leadership roles. She was appointed general manager of FCM UK and Ireland in 2012 and has spearheaded the transformation of the TMC in recent years.  Under her leadership, FCM UK has doubled turnover and established itself as a global player in the market.

In her new role, Greenfield will be responsible for driving development of Flight Centre’s product offering and travel content strategy for all of the group’s corporate brands across Europe.

Steve Norris, MD of Flight Centre Corporate, commented: “I am delighted to announce that Graham Ross will be assuming the role of FCM’s UK general manager from Jo Greenfield. He has been instrumental in driving FCM’s growth and awareness of the brand over the last six years. He is the natural successor to continue taking FCM forwards and ensure that it continues to adapt and evolve as a TMC, keeps growing and innovating, without losing sight of our customer focus in the face of ongoing major changes in the business travel industry.

“Jo Greenfield has done an impressive and valued job over the last six years in nurturing the FCM brand, steering its growth and the transformation of the business into the market-leading global TMC it is today, whilst mentoring and inspiring her staff. Her move to Flight Centre’s corporate land product area of the business will be hugely beneficial due to her insight into the needs of our corporate customers and the importance of aggregating all our hotel and land content as seamlessly as possible across our booking channels whether offline, online, or mobile.”
