Hilton London Metropole has launched a new all-inclusive food and beverage concept for meetings of up to 50 people called “Meetings Simplified”.
The hotel says the package is designed in recognition of the growing importance of food as part of the meetings experience and offers more flexibility. It has been developed based on research by Hilton with meeting and event bookers and agents.
Meeting organisers can now book the package at the hotel, which includes all-day snack stations for morning and afternoon breaks at no additional cost. Delegates can also choose from a selection of healthy refreshment options, which Hilton says are based on four elements:
- Free From features additive-free dishes for those with dietary requirements, such as a detox salad of spinach, kale, broccoli, blueberries and flax seed, or gluten-free pasta salad with roasted vegetables and pine nuts
- Superfoods and Energisers such as bircher muesli or grilled chicken with a mixed green and grapefruit salad, all foods that are rich in proteins and antioxidants to stimulate brain activity
- Guilty Pleasures, including sweet and savoury treats such as chocolate brioche buns or a gnocchi trio with spinach, beetroot, pumpkin and gorgonzola cream sauce
- Hydration Station with a selection of iced teas, fruit-infused water, Twining teas and infusions.
Hilton says the new concept also reaffirms the brand’s ‘Meet with Purpose’ concept of the ‘mindful meeting’, which is based on using less resources and minimising food waste, as well as healthy eating and an enhanced delegate experience for greater productivity.

The Meetings Simplified package includes room hire, wifi, a flip chart and markers, plasma screen or screen with projector, two-course lunch and all-day grazing stations. Hilton says no upfront payment is required and there is free cancellation up to 24 hours before your meeting. It is available at all Hilton-managed properties in the UK and Ireland.
