The GTMC has announced Yapta as its latest industry partner. Yapta is a provider of “airfare and hotel price assurance services”.

It has distribution agreements with 14 large TMCs, with 8,000 customers globally, including 125 of the Fortune 500. In August, the company opened an EMEA office with a sales team dedicated to helping UK companies.

The GTMC will work with Yapta to bring technology leadership to the travel landscape and reduce expenses for businesses by providing them with full visibility into their travel spend.

Adrian Parkes, chief executive, GTMC said: “Yapta’s innovative airfare and hotel rate tracking solutions offer business travellers’ cost-saving opportunities and help organisations streamline travel budgets. Their strategy for delivering improved practical solutions, growth and efficiency to travellers, through the use of technology is part of the core work for the GTMC.”

Yapta will be exhibiting as part of the GTMC Pavilion at the Business Travel Show taking place 20 and 21 February 2019 in London.
