Business Travel Show 2019: Ones to watch

Business Travel Show 2018

With doors opening for Business Travel Show in just two weeks, we present a round-up of some of the exhibitor launches and news to watch out for

ACE – B4600
The ACE Team will be unveiling new company branding as part of its recent change in ownership. Meet the team and the ACE Bodyguard and ACE Policy Professor.

Air Astana – B712
Air Astana is extending its routes with new flights to Tashkent from London Heathrow, Frankfurt and Paris CDG from the start of its summer schedule on 29 March 2019.

Amber Road – B422
2019 will be Amber Road’s first Business Travel Show after rebranding from CTI. The TMC will be launching TRAQ Travel, a unique SME-based mobile app that allows clients to only pay a service charge during active months. The team has also recently partnered with Simpila Healthy Solutions – one of the 2019 Disrupt Launchpad exhibitors.

Anvil – B312
Despite 1.3 million people losing their lives on the world’s roads annually, ground transportation still remains an afterthought in many travel programmes. Anvil will be discussing results from its new report – Ground Transportation: A Duty of Care Black Hole in Travel Risk Management – which brings together expert views from the corporate world, risk management and ground transportation.

ATPI – B440
ATPI is running a double demo at Business Travel Show. Industry-changing travel management platform Zeno by ATPI is now available to businesses in the UK and the TMC believes it will transform the way its clients book and change travel arrangements by placing simple and interactive booking functionality at their fingertips. Buyers can also get hands on with the latest ATPI Analytics updates, including predictive analysis features and the ability to carry out peer benchmarking exercises, offer instant currency conversions and identify the most effective actions within budget.

Brunel – B1500
Global ground transportation company Brunel has partnered with Amadeus to provide an easy and seamless booking process for customers using the innovative travel booking ecosystem, focusing on providing the most comfortable, hassle-free corporate travel experience for clients, whenever they need, and wherever they are.

Cellars in the Sky – B655
BBT's sister publication Business Traveller will present the winners of its Cellars in the Sky 2018 awards (yet to be announced), which recognise the best wines served in Business and First class on airlines from around the world. There will be four tastings throughout the two-day show.

Clarity – B520
Clarity is launching a brand new platform, showcasing its award-nominated management information tool, Go2Insight, and hosting a travel-inspired cocktail hour (or two).

Corporate Traveller – B30
Specialist SME TMC Corporate Traveller is launching Sam for SMEs at Business Travel Show. Sam is a mobile app that blends a powerful mix of AI with the expertise of the TMC’s travel consultants to provide business travellers with personalised information about their trip via a chat-based interface. The highly interactive, travel-savvy app assists business travellers before, during and after their trip with everything from itinerary management, air and hotel bookings and flight updates to local city and country information, local weather reports, driving directions and security alerts.

CTM – B620
CTM is doing the treble at Business Travel Show with the launch of the new CTM Portal, CTM Mobile and the next generation of its Lightning OBT. Also, don’t miss the legendary CTM cocktail hour between 3pm and 4pm on both days of the show to celebrate the company’s 25th birthday. And keep an eye out for its modern new look, which represents the way CTM blends service and technology to make business travel management effortless and effective for its clients. 

Cvent – B3400
Cvent will announce the findings of a recently commissioned survey conducted by independent research company Censuswide amongst more than 500 corporate travel decision makers across the UK, Germany, Italy, Spain and France.  Highlights of the study include rising hotel/airline costs, Brexit concerns, challenges with bid submissions, negotiation, transparency and top regions/destinations in 2019.

Fairjungle – BTS Hub G
Fairjungle is proud to announce the UK-version launch of its innovative, easy-to-use travel platform at BTS 2019. The platform leverages cutting-edge UX, layers on top of your existing travel tool and can be up-and-running in three days.

FCM – B130
FCM Travel Solutions is unveiling an intelligent and ground-breaking approach to delivering and designing travel content to its clients, including the launch of a powerful suite of technology products that will enhance customers’ content experience across all aspects of air, hotel, rail and ground transport.

Fello – B1243
Fello will be celebrating its first anniversary with a cocktail party for travel managers each afternoon. Pop along at 4pm and get an update on the Fello story.

Groundscope – B950
Travel and operational risk company Anvil Group, ground transportation booking provider GroundScope and transportation network provider Uber for Business are publishing a brand new report that focuses on how corporates can better protect their travellers and themselves when it comes to selecting ground transportation options.

Heathrow Express – B825
Contactless bank cards, mobile devices and Oyster cards will all be accepted on Heathrow Express from Tuesday, 19 February 2019, helping business travellers have an even speedier experience on the fastest route between London Paddington and Heathrow Central.

Inntel – B1410
Inntel is launching a new online booking tool – LOGiC. A connected travel solution designed and created by Inntel specifically to make the booking of business travel and meetings logical, personalised and straightforward, LOGiC is a single itinerary journey-building solution which provides business travellers aggregated access to GDS, non-GDS and Inntel’s proprietary content, encompassing flights, accommodation, rail, meetings, car hire and other ancillary services both locally and globally.

Intrinsic – B340
Meet Sean Patrick, a tactical intelligence analyst who will be showcasing Intrinsic Assistance, an integrated medical and security risk management and assistance service.

Millennium Hotels – BTS Hub I
On 20 February at 5pm, Millennium cars will depart from the Millennium @ BT Hub at the Olympia Centre to take buyers for a champagne reception at the Millennium Hotel in Kensington.  On 21 February, buyers can visit the stand to enter a draw for the chance to win a three-night stay at the Millennium Broadway hotel in New York City.

Nina and Pinta – B601
Jo from Nina & Pinta will be conducting demos of Air Data Dashboard, developed in partnership with The Data Exchange. The Air Data Dashboard helps drive informed purchasing decisions throughout the air sourcing process by providing users with an independent, interactive dashboard that consolidates travel data into a user friendly, flexible format.  The final version of the tool includes key feature upgrades that have been developed from feedback from clients over the last six months.

Omega World Travel – B350
Omega World Travel recently went mobile, with the release of the Omega Go App.  Omega Go connects to clients’ online booking tools such as Concur Travel, Amadeus Cytric and Sabre’s GetThere sites.  Omega has partnered with mTrip, a leader in mobile apps, to integrate with services like Lyft and Uber.

Oneworld – B150
Pop over to Oneworld on day one for a Happy Hour to celebrate its 20th anniversary. The alliance will be rolling out of a host of initiatives including fresh brand positioning – with Business Travel Show 2019 the first trade event globally where it will be on display – a refreshed website and exciting new digital products that will bring the alliance customer proposition to life in the mobile app era.

Premier Suites – B3900
Serviced apartment specialist Premier Suites has launched a lone female guest programme. Designed to help female guests feel safe and secure during their stay, the programme covers areas such as the check-in process, room allocation and apartment security.

Riskline – B165
Riskline will be adding to its newly launched collection of 100 City Safety Maps throughout 2019. Each map was created from scratch by Riskline’s analysts using open source and human intelligence, including reports from local authorities and information from trusted local sources, critical information and advice for travellers about specific neighbourhoods and landmarks in a city, down to the street level, including high-crime zones, protest flashpoints and other areas of concern.

SalesTrip – B382
SalesTrip is a new market entrant launching at Business Travel Show and offering an all-in-one travel booking, ticketing and expense management system on Salesforce, enabling organisations to derive ROI for their travel and expense spend for the first time. 

TBR Global Chauffeuring– B613
TBR Global Chauffeuring will be launching a specialist global major events service line, which focuses exclusively on delivering a fully managed end-to-end service on complex international large-scale projects. The team will also be premiering its newly opened Singapore office, a new-look website and showcasing its extended vehicle fleet.

Traveldoo – B940
Traveldoo will be launching the results of brand-new research looking at the challenges facing travel buyers in 2019. Pop to the stand for a copy.  

Travelport – B1400
Get an exclusive preview of Travelport’s new Agency Efficiency Suite and the latest developments in Smartpoint – plus don’t miss the chance to enter the BTS quiz and grab a G&T on the stand at the end of day one when the quiz winner will be announced.

Traxo – B880
Buyers will get a first look at Traxo CONNECT for SMEs; a new corporate travel data management solution designed for European companies with under $10 million in annual travel spend and/or unmanaged corporate travel programmes who are seeking cost-effective tools to easily monitor and manage their business travel activity

Tripbam – B405
Tripbam Hotel Intelligence is a new, first-of-its-kind solution designed with extensive input from Tripbam clients. It is the only tool in the market that allows travel managers in real time to accurately grade hotel, brand and chain performance regarding true discounts received and LRA (Last Room Availability). Tripbam will be providing a full demo at the stand.

Troop Travel – B2200
After winning last year’s Business Travel Disrupt Award Winner, Troop Travel returns to the show this year to officially launch its big data-driven corporate group travel and meetings platform, which brings multi-origin travellers, flight and hotel pricing, ease of travel, visa requirements, carbon footprint, travel policy, travel security and more together into one platform.

Yapta will be announcing the launch of its next-generation TravelAI Hotel analytics product based on feedback from both Corporate Travel 100 customers as well as mid-market customers. Yapta is spotlighting its 5 Ways to Save white paper, which outlines five powerful ways that travel professionals can use dynamic price tracking technology and advanced travel spend analytics to achieve greater savings, increased traveller programme compliance and more productive supplier negotiations.
