Sabre and Expedia expand hotel supply to agents

Agents can now book Expedia rates through Sabre following a successful trial period between the two companies.

The partnership means travel agents subscribed to Sabre will be able to instantly book Expedia Affiliate Network (EAN) rates and availabilities and can select from more than 87,000 properties globally – up from an initial 63,000.

“The level of interest we’ve experienced in the trial phase has confirmed there’s real demand for our properties through Sabre, and we’re delighted to now bring that content fully online for all agents,” says Christian Gerron, VP of Sales for EAN. “We’re making it as easy for agents to book Expedia properties as those of any hotel chain or other supplier.”

The expansion of Expedia, Inc content through the Sabre Travel Network includes full-service hotels and resorts, B&Bs and small inns, airport hotels, boutique hotels, budget hotels and serviced apartments. While the new hotel content covers all regions, many properties are in Europe, the Middle East and Asia.
