Global hotel solutions provider HRS has won a global RFP from multinational company Siemens and will handle all business processes related to its hotel programme.
Siemens represents one of the largest global hotel programmes with more than 3 million room nights a year. HRS will provide hotel purchasing and negotiate special rates with properties, along with rate loading and audits, analysis and optimisation for Siemens in more than 170 countries.
HRS says it also aims to increase traveller satisfaction through more personalised and easier booking processes. It will use technology such as artificial intelligence and blockchain.
Thorsten Eicke, vice president of global category mobility services at Siemens AG, said: “HRS clearly convinced us with its holistic approach. We were impressed by the seamless end-to-end solutions, from sourcing to booking. The innovation power of HRS was also decisive.”
Tobias Ragge, CEO of HRS, commented: “We are very excited about expanding our collaboration, and are proud that Siemens gave us overall responsibility for all processes related to business hotel accommodation worldwide. Our services will lead to additional savings of direct and indirect costs at Siemens. At the same time, HRS hotel partners will benefit from this deal, which gives them increased access to one of the world’s top global brands.”
