BBT Hotlist 2016: Nominations now open

BBT Hotlist 2016

We are looking for your nominations on who or what should be included in BBT’s Hotlist for 2016.

This is where we list the people, companies and products driving change, setting agendas and making an impact on business travel based on the opinions of BBT editorial staff, readers and key industry experts... So we want to know your choices.

There is no limit on the amount of nominations you put forward and a short explanation on your choices is also welcome.

This year’s list covered various areas of corporate travel and focused on a variety of people, products and businesses including industry disruptors such as Airbnb and Lastroom, industry influencers such as Chris Pouney and CTM CEO Jamie Pherous as well as influential players in the world of technology such as Uber, Sixt and Silverrail.

To put forward your nominations for next year’s list all you need to do is let us know in the comment box below, tweet @BBT_online or email Digital Editor Tom Newcombe or BBT Editor Paul Revel

We will publish the full Hotlist in the first issue of 2016 which is due out in the first week of January.

I saw that you are accepting nominations, and I would like to nominate MobileDay's one-touch conference call dial-in app for the tech trailblazers. Our biggest user category is the frequent flyer who is trying to stay in touch with the home office or clients while on the road. We have also been told by users that we are a "lifesaver" when it comes to driving and joining meeting calls. We are especially popular with sales professionals and C-level executives.

Most of all, MobileDay is the most reliable conference call dial-in app out there because we verify every number before the time of the scheduled call. Our users love us for that!

Let me know if you need any more information. Thank you for your consideration.

Hi I saw that the nomiations for the BBT Hotlist 2016 were now open and I'd like to nominate Conferma, the leading technology provider for Virtual Card Numbers (VCNs) to the travel sector.

Conferma 's technology is solving the complexities of corporate traveland saving businesses money all at the same time. Conferma works with many of the World's leading banks/card providers to provide a truly reconcilable, cost-effective solution for TMCs and their customers.
Conferma's platform integrates with all major GDS systems.

Conferma's growth over the past few years has been exceptional with 2015 seeing the introduction and overhaul of ancillary apps such as TripPay and SNAP.

As more and more businesses adopt this simple, secure form of payment Conferma certainly is a brand to watch.

I would like to nominate Aurelie Krau who is the founder of Travel Think - an industry expert on travel technology. Travel Think helps refine or acquire knowledge of the market and of latest trends. It also helps companies willing to develop a content marketing strategy.

Despite only being 27 she is already producing excellent thought leadership on many issues in travel and is also acting head of GBTA in France
