Eurowings is to continue its expansion at Munich by launching a new route to Cologne Bonn airport.

The Lufthansa subsidiary, which added more than 30 new flights to its schedule in March, will offer four daily flights on the route from March 25, 2018, in addition to Lufthansa’s existing services.

Oliver Wagner, Eurowings’ CEO, said: “With the Cologne/Bonn – Munich route, we are creating the perfect link between our extensive route offerings at both airports.

“Our passengers will benefit significantly from this: it will give them considerably greater flexibility, particularly when planning long-haul flights with Eurowings.“

Eurowings said that flight times between Munich and Cologne Bonn would be “well co-ordinated with the departure times of the intercontinental flights”.
