BA to suspend London City-Madrid service

British Airways is suspending its London City-Madrid service later this month.

The airline told BBT’s sister title Business Traveller: “We constantly evaluate and review the commercial performance of our entire global network and will increase or reduce our schedules as we feel appropriate.

“The London City to Madrid service will be suspended from Sunday January 29, 2017.

“Additionally we will not be resuming the summer-only London City to Alicante service.

“Any customers affected by the changes will be rebooked onto the closest available service.”

Alternative services between London and Madrid include BA and Iberia from Heathrow, Ryanair from Stansted, Easyjet from Luton, and Air Europa, Iberia Express and Norwegian from Gatwick.
