Irish low-cost carrier Ryanair has announced two new routes for summer 2019, including direct flights from Bournemouth to Dublin and from Liverpool to Corfu.

The Bournemouth-Dublin route will operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays from 2 April.

Meanwhile, the Liverpool-Corfu route will commence on 2 June and will operate on Sundays and Thursdays.

Andrew Bell, CEO of Bournemouth airport owner Regional & City Airports, commented: “Ryanair’s Dublin route announcement is exciting news for local passengers… We anticipate an extra 70,000 passengers a year with the Dublin route, which is part of Bournemouth airport’s growth strategy, including the ambition to double passenger numbers to 1.5 million over the next five years.”
