Business travel management company Clarity has signed a three-year deal with MICE technology company Cvent.
The deal will see Clarity use Cvent’s platform to grow its hotel request for proposal (RFP) programme for business travellers and those in the Meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions sector. The company says the partnership will allow it to offer “increased efficiencies and savings” to its clients.
The TMC says it will now be able to build stronger hotel programmes, negotiate directly with properties, ensure rate integrity and create an enhanced experience for travellers. The Cvent tech will be used by Clarity for both transient business travel and Meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions travel in the UK and internationally.
Cvent’s platform allows hotels to use and publish data to GDSs and OTA websites without the need for manual processes. The firm claims that by automating these systems, hotels can cut the time spent on the Request for proposal process in half.
