Windsor hotel De Vere Beaumont Estate has unveiled the results of its £12 million refurbishment, which includes the creation of new luxury bedrooms.
As well as creating 15 new rooms out of what used to be seven meeting spaces at the property’s Wessex Old School House, work has include restoration of the chapel, which can be used for a range of private and corporate events.
The new 1705 Restaurant & Bar serves a mix of British and Italian classics, while the adjoining courtyard allows guests to dine alfresco with more relaxed food. In addition, the renovated Beaumont Restaurant provides seasonal menus throughout the day.
De Vere Beaumont Estate features 45 meeting spaces, including the flagship Hanover Suite, all of which have been refurbished. All spaces include the latest AV technology to demonstrate the company’s Smart Space meeting concept.
A further four luxury bedroom suites within the hotel’s White House will be unveiled in March.
Darren McGhee, venue director at De Vere Beaumont Estate, said: “We’re delighted with the results of the refurbishment; we firmly believe that we have created a property that caters perfectly for our guests, whatever their reason for visiting. The makeover has breathed new life into what is a landmark country estate.”
