Air France is to launch two new long-haul routes from Paris Charles de Gaulle to Dallas and Quito in Ecuador from summer 2019.
The service to Dallas Fort Worth will start on 31 March 2019 and operate up to five times per week using an Airbus A330 aircraft with economy, premium economy and business class cabins.
The route will operate on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday until 30 June, when two extra frequencies will be added on Monday and Saturday until 1 September. Air France last operated the route in 2002.
Dallas will be the 13th US destination served by Air France from Paris CDG. Services already operate to Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Detroit, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, Minneapolis, New York, San Francisco, Seattle and Washington.
The Paris-Quito route will be operated by Air France’s subsidiary brand Joon from May 14, 2019, with three flights per week on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
Joon will use an airbus A340 aircraft with three cabins: economy, premium economy and business.
Air France has not operated flights to Quito since 1998.
