The Institute of Travel Management (ITM) and global hotel solutions provider HRS are collaborating to create a day-long Corporate Lodging Forum (CLF) on 29 April to coincide with the ITM Conference 2019 in Brighton.
In addition, HRS will be a strategic sponsor at ITM events in Ireland and the UK throughout the year, beginning with the ITM-GBTA Strategic Meetings Management Symposium in London on 31 January.
HRS’ Corporate Lodging Forum, established in 2013, provides travel managers and procurement executives with a worldwide lodging education series. Since it began, thousands have attended events on five continents. In 2018, CLF events were held in 13 countries, bringing together more than 250 speakers and travel management peers have taken to the stage to discuss corporate hotel issues including evolving sourcing models, virtual payment trends and traveller connectivity.
HRS and the ITM will work together to create content for the Brighton CLF, which will take place one day before the ITM’s annual conference located at the Hilton Brighton Metropole.
Scott Davies, CEO of the ITM, commented: “We are excited to work with HRS and incorporate CLF into our annual conference. We know that travel managers are under increasing pressure to stay ahead of hotel trends and improve traveller satisfaction, which is no mean feat. ITM’s partnership with HRS’ CLF signifies a synchronised approach to deliver high-quality, relevant and insightful content that helps ITM members maximise the performance of their travel programme.”
Chris Crowley, VP of EMEA for HRS, added: “ITM and HRS are aligned when it comes to helping travel buyers navigate the complex global hospitality arena. The next year promises to be fascinating, especially in Europe. We look forward to working closely with ITM to put together relevant content for ITM members, including a keynote that addresses tactics for handling the ever-changing Brexit landscape.”
