There’s just one week left before industry professionals gather at London’s Grosvenor House Hotel for the 2018 Business Travel Awards.

BBT’s events team has been hard at work putting the finishing touches on the evening, which takes place on 22 January. More than 1,200 of the industry’s finest will enjoy an evening of entertainment, from a champagne reception and three-course dinner to the legendary post-awards party.

BBT events manager Emma Gordon commented: “I’ve been working with our team, partners and suppliers for the best part of a year to make sure everything is as perfect as possible on the night. It’s always a challenge, but so rewarding when it goes to plan and you see everyone having a wonderful time.”

Our expert panel of judges painstakingly considered each and every entry for the 22 categories – including Travel Buyer and Team of the Year, Rising Star and Best TMC – to come up with this year’s shortlist.

Mike Toynbee, chairman of the judging panel, said: “The quality of the entries gets better each year – and this year is no exception. There were some outstanding submissions, and drawing up the shortlist proved harder than ever.”

This year’s awards are supported by Amadeus in association with ACTE Global, the GTMC and ITM.
