Expense management software provider Chrome River has partnered with Indian online travel company Yatra to deliver integrated automated expense management solutions for companies based in India.
Under the agreement, Yatra will resell Chrome River Expense as part of an integrated travel booking and expense management solution with its self-booking platform.
Chrome River says the integration will allow Yatra’s corporate customers to enforce expense policies and take control of company travel spend.
Dhruv Shringi, co-founder and CEO of Yatra Online, said: “As we continue to grow in the corporate travel segment, we are teaming up with Chrome River to further drive efficiencies in travel bookings by automating the expense management process.”
Alan Rich, co-founder and CEO of Chrome River, added: “India is one of the fastest-growing business travel markets, and corporate travel spending is increasing at 12 per cent per year, which is more than double that of the US and almost five times the growth seen across Europe. This growth, combined with the need for many Indian companies to improve business processes in areas such as travel booking and expense management, offers an excellent opportunity for Chrome River and Yatra.
“In addition to the need for increased control and visibility into spend, companies are looking for expense reporting solutions which work across any mobile platform. With this partnership with Yatra, organisations can benefit from these best-of-breed technology solutions, combined with local expertise that understands the specific needs of Indian organisations.”
