Carlson Wagonlit Travel has restructured its leadership team in the EMEA region including the removal of country manager roles.
CWT has reorganised its EMEA management structure to move towards to a “functional model” which will see the departure of Johan Wilson, country director for UK & Ireland.
The travel management company (TMC) said it had made six new appointments as part of the restructure in the EMEA region.
Chris Bowen, CWT’s managing director, EMEA, said: “This new organisational structure will make us more responsive to our clients’ needs across EMEA. Business is increasingly done across borders – especially within Europe – and as our customers evolve, we’re evolving with them.”
UK and Ireland will now come under the remit of Denise Harman as vice president Western Europe programme management and Phil Wooster, vice president Western Europe sales.
As part of the changes, CWT has also removed the role of country director for Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Benelux, France, and Spain.
