Sofitel London Gatwick has completed the first phase of a major refurbishment project, unveiling the result of a £1 million revamp of all of its restaurants and bars.

The refurbishment took three months to complete and includes the hotel’s two AA-rosette La Brasserie restaurant, Le Café and the property’s two bars – La Terrasse and Kua. The work also saw the executive lounge updated.

Refurbishment works were undertaken by Grove Developments along with designer Martin Farrow. Updates to the spaces include new interior décor, furniture and fittings. The redesign also increased the restaurants’ total covers from 90 to 126. The property’s seven two-bedroom suites and the Club Millesime were also refurbished.

Globy Ouseph, general manager of the hotel, said: “We’re delighted with the results of our refurbishment, which has completely transformed the appearance of our entire food and beverage offering. Grove Developments and Martin Farrow have done a fantastic job and the result has completely exceeded all our expectations.”
