Icelandic low-cost carrier Wow Air will launch flights between the US and India via Iceland this December.

Flights to Delhi’s Indira Gandhi airport will operate from Newark Liberty, Boston Logan, Baltimore/Washington, Chicago O’Hare, Pittsburgh, Detroit Metropolitan, San Francisco, Los Angeles and St Louis Lambert airports.

All services will transit via Iceland, with routes launching 5 December. Wow says it will use its new Airbus A330neo aircraft, which are fitted with the carrier’s new premium economy seats.

Skuli Mogensen, founder and CEO of Wow Air, said: “I’m thrilled to broaden Wow Air’s offerings and bring low-fare international flight service to India.”
