Hilton has today announced the opening of a hotel in Zhengzhou, marking the group’s first property in China’s Henan province.
The 448-room, 39-storey Hilton Zhengzhou is located in the city’s central business district and is 30 kilometres from the airport and seven kilometres from the high-speed train station.
It features four restaurants — Lobby Lounge, Yu Garden Chinese Restaurant, Eight Elements and Amici Bar — that serve both Chinese and international cuisine.
“As the capital city of Henan Province, Zhengzhou is not only enjoying rapid economic development, but, as the birthplace of Chinese civilization, is also establishing itself as one of China’s top tourist destinations,” said Rob Palleschi, global head, Hilton Hotel and Resorts.
“We look forward to offering travellers to this important gateway city the unparalleled service and amenities for which the Hilton brand is known around the globe.”
The hotel boasts Zhengzhou’s largest pillarless ballroom with more than 2,000 square meters of state-of-the-art meeting and banquet space and a conference service team, as well as a 24-hour business centre.
Each guestroom comes with an iPod/iPhone docking station and free wifi, while there is also an indoor swimming pool and a spa.
