Heathrow Express has released its new app with a feature that removes the need for printed tickets.
The service, which runs between the airport and Paddington station, can book be used to book and display tickets, provide live service updates and next train departure times.
Tickets can be booked using PIN transactions and grouped together with other online tickets. Users must input their card’s three-digit security code each time a booking is made and has PCI DSS security compliance built in – the payment card industry standard.
Heathrow Express business lead Fraser Brown, said: “We aim to make the Heathrow experience as seamless as possible for all our customers.
“This new app helps to achieve that. Tickets appear directly on your smartphone, so there’s no need to queue at any point.”
Heathrow Express travellers can now use US dollars and Euros for purchasing tickets for the service.
