HRG has announced that it has won a place as a supplier of online and offline travel services to central government departments.

The TMC, which is currently subject to a takeover bid by American Express Global Business Travel, has secured a place on ‘Solution 4’ of the Public Sector Travel and Venue Solution (PSTVS) alongside Capita Travel and Events and Redfern Travel.

Under the three-year contract, which starts this month, HRG is also providing travel services for the wider public sector including not-for-profit organisations.

Mike Holmes, worldwide government services director at HRG, said: “It’s an endorsement of our proven track record in managing government clients of varying size and complexities.

“We pride ourselves on being open and transparent and we will offer the same under PSTVS to help realise customer goals.

“Key to this will be the provision of a robust and effective data security and profile management process, accurate and insightful data to help drive smart booking and savings realisation, and fast-track implementation to help onboard quickly.”

Capita announced its place as a travel supplier to the Crown Commercial Service earlier this month.
