Serviced apartment provider Oakwood Worldwide has announced a significant programme to realign its technological infrastructure over the next several years, starting with the launch of a new website and expanded online booking capabilities.
Oakwood says it is responding to customer feedback and addressing the “changing requirements of the market”. The new website consolidates the company’s three sites (oakwood.com, oakwoodworldwide.com and execustay.com) into one portal that Oakwood says streamlines the business process and allows users direct access to its inventory.
Key elements of the new site include a full redesign with improved navigation, content and features; real-time pricing and inventory availability; a property profile application with search and filtering options; and new measuring and reporting capabilities, which allow for responsive changes.
Chris Ahearn, CEO of Oakwood Worldwide, commented: “It’s an exciting time as we reinvent the way Oakwood does business online. These new changes are customer-driven, and they deliver a more streamlined user experience. The website launch is just one of the stages in a digital roadmap to harness technology and generate both value and growth.”
