American Express Global Business Travel has now completed the acquisition of HRG, with the creation of new roles.
The company said the combined group was expected to offer clients and travellers a “wider range of products and services, bringing together the best of both businesses including technology, people and a comprehensive geographic footprint”.
The HRG brand will remain in place as the integration process begins.
To head up the integration processs, Joanna Macleod, Amex GBT’s executive vice-president, Traveler Care, has been named chief transformation officer. Meanwhile, William Brindle (pictured above), HRG’s chief operating officer, now assumes the same role at Amex GBT.
