American Express Global Business Travel (GBT) has launched a data visualisation tool, providing buyers with a “complete view” of their travel programme to drive greater savings.

Premier Insights integrates AMEX corporate cards and travel booking data into a single platform, providing companies and their travel managers with access to a single-source view of the programme.

“Intelligent travel programme management is only possible when companies and their travel managers understand how their employees consume travel and the financial impact of their usage,” said Christine Ourmières-Widener, chief global sales officer, GBT.

“We created Premier Insights to centralise everything that can impact the efficiency of a travel programme, allowing travel managers to spend less time pulling data and more time enhancing their travellers’ experiences. As a result, they can engage in smarter decision-making, drive programme efficiencies and achieve cost savings,” she said.

GBT also said the tool can also help influence traveller behaviour. They can track and influence employee compliance by examining their company’s performance assessments to see how they measure against established policies and compare these assessments against other industries.

Premier Insights is currently available in more than 20 countries across North America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia-Pacific.

The tool is expected to integrate other corporate card types and booking data into the platform later this year.
