UK aparthotel operator Native is set to launch its new flagship property, Native Bankside, on 6 August.
The aparthotel, which will add to Native’s portfolio of more than 25 properties across the UK, is located in Bear Gardens in an 18th-century tea warehouse. It offers 75 studios, one and two-bedroom apartments furnished by Conran Contracts.
The property provides 24-hour check-in, free high-speed wifi and a communal workspace.
Guy Nixon, CEO of Native, said: “This has been a rare opportunity to take a beautiful heritage building in one of London’s most culturally vibrant areas and transform it into a stylish aparthotel. The launch of Native Bankside is the first milestone in plans to expand our aparthotel business in all major cities across the UK and will set a benchmark for the category in terms of design.”
Native is set to open a further two aparthotels over the next six months, including Native Glasgow launching this autumn and London Warehouse in Manchester opening in January 2019.
