Norwegian has announced it will commence flights between Dublin and Hamilton airport in Toronto from 31 March, 2019, marking the low-cost carrier’s first route to Canada.

The daily non-stop flights will be served by Norwegian’s new B737 MAX aircraft, offering 189 seats in a single economy cabin.

Hamilton airport is located near the city of Toronto and also provides access to the nearby cities of Niagara Falls and Buffalo, New York.

Bjorn Kjos, CEO of Norwegian, said: “We are committed to providing Irish passengers with greater choice and lower fares across our network as we continue to invest in the Irish market. We look forward to welcoming passengers on board our new service to Canada from March 2019.”
