Serviced apartment firm SACO is planning to double in size by adding six new properties over the next three years.
SACO announced its expansion plans at the Business Travel Show in London today, which includes four new UK properties and its first overseas operations in Dublin and Amsterdam.
Three of the new properties will be in London with the fourth UK development due to open in Manchester next year.
Stephen Hanton, CEO commercial of SACO, said: “Today’s announcement marks a key milestone in the growth we first started planning two years ago to meet the ever-increasing demand for serviced accommodation.
“This exciting phase in our development will see our inventory double, and SACO takes its first step into continental Europe with the opening of our Amsterdam property later this year.”
Three of the new properties in Manchester, Dublin and Buckle Street, London, will be operated under the lifestyle aparthotel brand Locke.
The expansion will add a total of 905 units, which will almost double SACO’s current inventory from 980 to 1885 units.
The first of the new openings will be a 34-unit in London’s Fitzrovia area in April. It will be followed by the Amsterdam property with 114 apartments in the last quarter of this year.
