From March 27, Delta will start flying from Heathrow to Boston and Miami.
The new routes will be operated in cooperation with Delta’s joint venture partners Air France KLM and Alitalia.
Delta started serving Heathrow in 2008 – three years later it now offers 10 US flights daily.
Perry Cantarutti, Delta’s senior VP EMEA, said London Heathrow was one of the world’s top business airports.
“It is a key Delta strategy to increase our presence here and in other airports preferred by business travellers around the world,” he said.
All services out of the London airport now feature fully flat beds in business class.
The airline has also confirmed the launch this summer of Delta’s new premium economy class Economy comfort.
The new class, which will mean Delta is more in line with its joint venture partner KLM, will offer up to four additional inches of legroom and 50% more recline than Delta’s international Economy class.
