Air Europa has announced that its daily Sao Paulo route from Gatwick via Madrid will operate on board a Boeing 787-8 from 25 March.

The airline has been rolling out the Dreamliner on several routes, including Miami, Bogota, Santo Domingo, Buenos Aires, Havana, Lima and Tel Aviv. Air Europa currently has eight of the aircraft in operation, with a further 16 787-9s due to arrive starting next month.

Colin Stewart, UK MD of Air Europa, commented: “We are delighted to be launching the Dreamliner on the Sao Paulo route this March. Both leisure and business travellers alike can now enjoy a more comfortable and eco-friendly inflight experience to one of Brazil’s most popular destinations.”
