Danish low-cost carrier Primera Air will fly to Toronto from its UK bases at Stansted and Birmingham airports starting in May 2018.
The airline established hubs at the UK airports earlier this year and will begin new routes to New York’s Newark airport and Boston Logan next spring. Flights to Toronto will operate three times a week from Birmingham and Stansted, as well as four times a week from Paris-Charles de Gaulle.
The service will include two cabin classes onboard an Airbus A321neo – Premium and Economy, both of which will feature wifi and charging ports for devices.
Primera Air says it is planning further expansion over the next two years with more transatlantic flights from its European bases in the pipeline. The carrier has recently placed an order for 20 Boeing Max9-ER planes.
