GLH Hotels has announced it will rebrand the Grosvenor Hotel to the Amba Hotel Victoria as it launches a refurbishment of the historic property, marking the brand’s third central London location.
Currently operating as part of fellow GLH brand Guoman Hotels, the 345-bedroom property will be fully refurbished. The hotel’s Grosvenor Arms restaurant and the Tea Lounge have already been renovated and are open to the public.
The property’s bedrooms, meetings and event spaces and additional food and beverage outlets will be refurbished throughout 2019, with all projects scheduled to be completed by the end of the year.
Neil Gallagher, CEO of GLH Hotels, said: “The expansion of the Amba Hotels brand with the addition of the Amba Hotel Victoria is a milestone moment for GLH Hotels. The brand was designed to raise guests’ expectations of a four-star hotel and offer an upgraded hotel experience. Each Amba Hotel has a unique personality in an amazing central location and we know Amba Hotel Victoria will be the perfect addition to this brand.”
Amba Hotels currently operates the Amba Hotel Marble Arch and the Amba Hotel Charing Cross.
