Air France services are set to be hit by further strikes including a stoppage on Good Friday (March 30) as several of its unions take more industrial action.
Employees at the airline held a one-day strike last Friday (March 23) and this will be followed by another stoppage this Friday.
Unions have also announced two further strike days next week on Tuesday, April 3, and Saturday, April 7. Unions, pilots, cabin crew and ground staff, are in dispute with the carrier over pay increases.
Air France has warned that its flight schedule will be “disrupted” on Friday but the strike only affects services operated by Air France and sister brand Joon. HOP! flights will not be affected.
“We now offer rebooking options at no extra cost, no matter the fare,” said the airline in a statement. “Some flights may be cancelled.
“Furthermore, in order to ensure the maximum number of flights with our reduced crew, we may have to limit the number of passengers onboard some of our flights, meaning that we will not be able to honour all bookings.”
