Hilton has announced three new hotel openings in Russia, under its Hilton Garden Inn and Doubletree brands.
The 270-room Doubletree by Hilton, Moscow Leningradsky-Riverside will be located in north-west Moscow on the Leningradskoe Shosse between the city centre and the airport.
Due to open in 2012, it will offer a restaurant and bar, fitness centre, indoor swimming pool, 1,200-sqm of meeting and event space, a business centre and wireless internet access throughout the hotel.
The Doubletree will also have a yacht club and marina nearby, so guests will be able to travel to downtown Moscow by boat.
Hilton has also announced a franchise agreement to open the 179-room Hilton Garden Inn Yaroslavl in 2012, which will have 576 sqm of meeting space, including 10 meeting rooms and a ballroom.
In 2014, the third hotel under the recently deals will open in the capital of Tatarstan, Kazan. Also a Hilton Garden Inn, it will be located close to the airport and Volga river port.
Hilton currently operates three hotels in Russia (Hilton Moscow Leningradskaya, Hilton Garden Inn Perm, and the Doubletree by Hilton, Novosibirsk, which opened last month) and is planning more.
The hotel group, which entered Russia for the first time in 2008, also has five other properties under development: Hilton Garden Inn Omsk; Doubletree by Hilton, Perm; Doubletree by Hilton, Sochi-Adler; Hilton Garden Inn Samara; and Hilton Garden Inn Ulyanovsk.
