FCM Travel Solutions has won the global travel management contract for dairy firm Fonterra.

The Flight Centre-owned TMC has secured the global deal with the New Zealand-based company following a tendering process.

Fonterra is a multi-national dairy company which is owned by 13,000 New Zealand farmers. It has 16,000 staff around the world and operates across more than 100 countries.

Simon McKearney, general manager of FCM New Zealand, said: “Our pitch centred around FCM’s focus of challenging existing processes, encouraging innovation and helping businesses change for the better.

“As part of this, we pitched a brand new online booking tool, which is incredibly user friendly, driving a highly interactive process. Our technology combined with the service proposition of FCM, compliments Fonterra’s objective of spend efficiency.”
