London-based property developer Marldon and designer Waldo Works have announced they will open a new 57-apartment aparthotel called Rockwell East in September.
The property offers spacious studio, one bedroom and family apartment accommodation with hotel-like service.
Each apartment features a fully fitted kitchen, free wifi, a dishwasher, washing machine/dryer, safe, air conditioning, an HD TV, Merino wool blankets, Egyptian cotton sheets, towelling dressing gowns, White Company soaps and lotions, a Nespresso coffee machine and a welcome breakfast pack by food delivery service Abel and Cole.
The property also offers The Cafe, which is open from 7am to midnight every day and provides a place for coffee, cocktails, breakfast, brunch, lunch or dinner. It also serves a buffet breakfast for guests between 7am and 10.30am, which includes continental and English breakfast options.
Rockwell East says room service will also be available.
Located within walking distance of the Tower of London, the property provides easy access to Aldgate, Aldgate East and Tower Hill Tube stations, as well as Fenchurch Street for national rail services. London City airport is a 20-minute drive away.
Fred Bartlett, associate partner at Marldon, said: “With a strong emphasis on design, mixed with comfort at an affordable price, we hope to create a stand-out experience in the growing London aparthotel market.”
